Systems Analyst

Skills:

• Strong IT systems analysis skills. You will be expected to write details models and technical specifications including process diagrams, data flows, screen flows, etc;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. You will be expected to write, when needed, user specs, training guides, etc;
• Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management;
• Strong facilitation skills. You will be expected to conduct meetings with clients and other steak-holders;
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake a wide variety of tasks;
• You will work with various technologies including Data Warehousing, Cold Fusion, several databases, and software development technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as a Senior Systems Analyst.
• You must have a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics or related field (applicants without this requirement will not be considered).
• Strong analytical skills and very familiar with systems analysis methodologies.
• Experience writing technical specs and systems documentation.
• Anticipates future system needs, identifies proactive solutions to satisfy needs.
• Ensures department is well informed, at all times, of changes within the company.
• Reinforces team approach throughout practice both on client projects and internal initiatives.
• Supports and solicits input from team members at all levels within the organization.
• Provides Management ideas to solve technical client issues.
• Takes on Project Manager roles when necessary.
• Lends expertise to internal teams.

Business Analyst

• play a key role in maintaining the relationships between clients and the company;
• gather requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures;
• participate in meetings with both the client and the development team in order to facilitate the understanding, clarification, and implementation of requirements;
• have the ability to understand and evaluate complex client business processes and translate these processes into detailed business requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents;
• operate the helpdesk and as such be the main point of contact between the user community and the company through support provided;
• conduct training sessions for members for our systems;
• produce monthly newsletters detailing functionality and enhancements for the various applications;
• produce documentation following standard documentation practices;
• perform other tasks as required.

• Certification in project management is an advantage;
• Higher Education administration, Healthcare, or Healthcare Education / administration background will be an asset.
